Women's S&D defeats Vanderbilt
In the Women's Swimming and Diving opener, the Cats took down Vanderbilt 187-72. Head Coach Lars Jorgenson said after the meet, "I thought we really brought a lot of energy today and I was pleased with the consistent effort from our team throughout the meet. We have a lot of people, like Morgan Belli, who really stepped up today. Our roster is a lot deeper this year, so the competitiveness in practice has been great. We’re not satisfied yet because it’s the beginning of the season, but it’s a good start.”
Going in to this meet, Jorgenson said it would be a good determination of where this team is and what they still need to work on. It looks like this team is in good shape going in to the season and looking to build on the confidence.
