The Wildcats ran into a Florida Gator Volleyball looking for revenge. The gators have lost to the Wildcats the past two years and lost their #1 national ranking after UK beat the min Gainesville earlier this season.

The biggest weapon for Kentucky this year has been its offense and tonight the Wildcats only hit .170 as a team and had two players in the negative. Offensively we were led by Sophomore Leah Edmond who. had 16 kills and hit .424. Freshman sensation Maddison Lilley had 27 assists to go with 1 ACE, 1 kill, 2 Blocks  and 12 digs.

Offensive Senior Emily Franklin add in 6 kills and hit .286 and Nyberg came of the bench to add in 3 timely kills in the third set.

Defensively the Cats played with a ton of heart and effort. Senior Kaz Brown had 3 block assists and Leah Edmond 1 Solo block and 2  block assists. Ashley Dusek had 13 digs and along with McKenzie Watson and Gabby Curry was diving all over the court tonight.

Give credit to Florida for making the adjustments it need to after the first game against UK and preparing a solid game plan for tonight.
