Godby's Keys to the Game: Vanderbilt Edition

1) No Losing Hangover

The loss to Texas A&M was disappointing and frustrating for everyone. The Cats have been able to regroup, recover and re-energize for the second half of the season, starting with Vandy. You cannot let Texas A&M beat you twice, allowing the disappointment from the game two weeks ago to effect you against Vandy. Watch this UK team come out with a new focus.

2) Benny Gets His Groove Back

Benny Snell is the heart of this offense and limiting him on carries is not ideal. Benny's Heisman campaign did not die at Kyle Field. His campaign is still very much alive and still will be an incredibly history year for him as an individual, but it needs to start today against Vandy.

3) Overwhelm the Vandy Offensive Line

This offensive line for Vandy is start three interior lineman (RG, C an LG) who have never played next to each other in those positions. Vandy's offense idles a lot due to their offensive line. Josh Allen, Jordan Jones and Kash Daniel are going to get a great opportunity to pin their ears back and really cause some chaos for Vandy.

4) Be a Bully

Let's not sugar coat it, this is Vandy. This UK team is MORE physical than Vanderbilt. UK is faster than Vandy. UK has a coaching staff that is light years ahead of Mason and his staff at Vanderbilt. UK needs to be an old fashion bully. Push them around, take their lunch money and make tonight a statement win and start off the second half the season the right way.
